“Not only do I advocate for healthier living as a vegan physician, but also as a fellow human being because I can relate to the obesity struggle. As a child in India, I suffered from obesity issues secondary to stress, depression and peer critiques resulting in skin, physical and mental issues. It wasn’t until I was a teen that I decided to take it upon myself to become proactive and make a difference in my own life before I could try to help make a difference in others lives. I began my regimen of meditation, good nutrition and exercise that led me to internal strength and passion for a healthier living. At that time, it was difficult to find mentors, teachers and resources to help me with my obesity issues, so that served as my inspiration to become an internal medicine and cosmetic/dermatology surgery doctor with an allopathic and naturopathic, 360 degree bettering lifestyle health approach. What we’ve been up to!

Fight Obesity Walk Organization has been working with schools to come up with new ways to spread awareness and prevent childhood obesity. Educating teachers on proper diet and exercise can influence students to make positive changes in their daily physical activity and nutrient intake. The Fight Obesity Walk Organization is also developing new, healthier products that everyone can enjoy.
